Let me introduce myself.  I have been a family mediator since 1992 and have conducted hundreds of family mediations in that time.  My experience in family law mediations (family dispute resolution) is your guarantee that you will achieve the best possible outcomes through the mediation process.
I am a Queensland Law Society Accredited Family Law Specialist having been admitted as a solicitor of the Supreme Court of Queensland on 28 January 1992.  I hold a Bachelor of Laws from the Queensland University of Technology and I am a member of the Family Law Practitioners Association of the Law Council of Australia. 

My relevant qualifications and memberships include being:
  • an accredited Queensland Law Society mediator under the National Accreditation Standards;
  • a member of the Queensland Law Society's Alternative Dispute Resolution Committee;
  • a registered Family Dispute Resolution Practitioner under the Family Law Act & Regulations;
  • a Legal Aid Office (Qld) approved chairperson/mediator (since 1992);
  • A Notary Public and is a member of The Society of Notaries Qld Inc  and the Australian & New Zealand College of Notaries;
  • A trained and currently practising Collaborative Lawyer; and 
  • A member of Mediate.com .
I am committed to providing effective dispute resolution (also known as "alternative dispute resolution" or "ADR") methods as opposed to litigation, including mediation and collaborative law.

Over almost 20 years as a family lawyer I have experienced the outcomes of litigation in the family law jurisdiction, more than enough to have appreciated the fruitless, destructive outcomes that litigation brings.  Litigation simply is not the answer!

Please consider dispute resolution methods prior to commencing any court proceedings.  Your family will thank you for it.

"QLS mediators among the best in Australia - As of November 2007, the QLS adopted the Australian National Accreditation Standards for mediators, thereby requiring mediator practitioners to comply with the national standards in order to be accepted onto the QLS panel. Since that time, a highly qualified group of Queensland lawyer mediators have attained national accreditation and continue to meet the ongoing requirements. "
